Exciton Science goes about generating impact in myriad ways. From its school outreach programs all the way through to high impact publications in journals like Nature. Impact for the Exciton Science Centre is a catch all phrase for a varied and prolific list of activities.

This section of the Annual Report for 2019 attempts to elucidate as much of these as possible, but mostly through the lens of our outreach and communication platforms. Here you can read about the Centre’s media presence, engagement with industry and government, the many school visits undertaken by enthusiastic and dedicated research fellows and students, and involvement in public events such as the Lost Lands Music Festival, where the Centre launched our first ever Dark Lab Science Exhibit to hundreds of awestruck children and parents!
